Critique information:

Pre-registered participants will be invited to submit the opening pages of their manuscript (minus any identifying information). At the workshop, Whitney will read submissions aloud, commenting as she goes – noting strengths, weaknesses, and most importantly, whether it is something she’d ask to see more of or not and why. She will do as many as she can in the time allotted, in the order they were received, but no guarantee is made that any specific participant’s manuscript will be critiqued. These are “cold reads,” meaning Whitney will be seeing them for the first time at the workshop.
Attendees are not required to submit pages for this exercise.
