After much gnashing of teeth and pulling of hair (by me, since all this computer-y stuff is voodoo to me), my new site is now up and running!  Isn’t it lovely?

We’ll still be tweaking a few things over the next few days, but all the important information is here and ready to go.

Happy New Year! 2011 is off to a great start for me. I’m so thrilled my Girls’ Guide to Flirting With Danger is one of the launch titles for the Mills & Boon RIVA line. So far, the reception has been unbelievable—Girls’ Guide even ended up at #142 on Amazon UK’s Kindle top 150 list! I hope this bodes well for the rest of the year!

I’m currently in the middle of writing what I call my “Marshall Family Trilogy.” Three brothers from a powerful political family, each matched with a heroine guaranteed to drive them crazy… and to their knees. The first book, The Privileged and the Damned, is Ethan’s—the middle brother—and will be out in the UK in June. Brady’s story is shaping up to be a lot of fun as well, and Finn and his lady are constantly on my mind (encouraging me to finish Brady’s book so they can get their HEA).

I did finally get an author page up on Facebook, ready to be “Liked.” ~grin~ While the new website is under construction, that’s where the most current info, excerpts and links can be found.

First, The Millionaire’s Misbehaving Mistress is finally seeing some love on the contest circuit. It’s a finalist in the Long and Short Contemporary category in the Heart of Excellence contest. Winners announced in Sept!

Lynn Raye Harris, Kira Sinclair and I have put together a booklet of excerpts from upcoming books. Here’s the cover. It’s quite possibly the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen aside from my child. And the quote on the cover just gives me happy shivers:

SQUEEE!! I’m so thrilled to announce that The Secret Mistress Arrangement *won* Best First Book in the National Readers’ Choice Awards. Tickled doesn’t even begin to describe the feeling. Thank you OKRWA for this wonderful contest and the fabulous reception.

I also want to send a SQUEEE out for my buddy Rhonda Nelson, whose Letters From Home beat TSMA in the Short Contemporary category. I’m so thrilled we both got to bring home the bling!

I’m so excited to announce that The Secret Mistress Arrangement is a finalist in the Maggie Contest for Short Contemporary. Squee!! Winners will be announced in October.

Sorry for the long delay in updates, but wow, life is busy these days. I’m hard at work on book #7 (and 8 & 9 too), but I’ll hold off on details for a little while. Don’t want to jinx the story mojo by talking about it too soon.

There are a couple of new updates elsewhere on the site. My August Modern Heat (UK) is available now on the Mills and Boon website! Yay! You can read the blurb and an excerpt here.

I also have a couple of foreign covers to put up as Magnate’s Mistress…Accidentally Pregnant is starting to be translated.

The website itself is about to undergo a complete transformation as we redesign and change a few things around. Please be patient with us—but the end result will be worth it, I promise!

For those of you who read The Millionaire’s Misbehaving Mistress and wanted to know what happened to Evie, What Happens In Vegas… will be out in the UK in August! (It’s available for preorder at amazon.co.uk) I’m very excited. (Evie’s story is set to be released in the US in early 2011.) I love this cover!

I also have the cover for my October Presents release, Boardroom Rivals, Bedroom Fireworks! And lookie at the lovely tag above my name…

And lastly, book six now has a title: Girls’ Guide to Flirting With Danger. This book was a hoot to write; after all, when the country’s leading expert on divorce meets up with his ex-wife — who just happens to be a marriage counselor — yeah, they’re both flirting with danger. Megan and Devin will be a Jan UK release (under the new Riva banner) and a March US release.

Sorry for the absenteeism—a book to finish and a move coming back-to-back has really eaten up my life. But I’m coming out of the piles of boxes to announce some very exciting news!

The Secret Mistress Arrangement is a finalist in the National Readers’ Choice Awards in TWO categories: Short Contemporary and Best First Book. I am beyond thrilled and very honored. (And the finalist list is so impressive, I’m just tickled to even see my name up there with the others!)
